1. Course Description
The Institute for Cochlear Implant Training was designed to promote
excellence in cochlear implantation through education and training
opportunities for surgeons. This course offers recorded lectures for
convenient viewing anytime, live interactive discussions, self-correcting
knowledge assessments, home-based workbook, and hands-on temporal
bone lab experiences hosted by distinguished experts within the field of
cochlear implantation. A weekly 1-hour online webinar will also be held
for more in-depth training and interaction with each course instructor.
The Surgeons’ Course is an advanced certificate program. It is an
excellent opportunity for experienced or new cochlear implant surgeons,
fellows, or senior residents to hone skills in hearing preservation and
avoiding complications.
