Bruce is Chairman of First National Bank of Omaha and
its holding company, First National of Nebraska. He is
Chairman ofThe Nebraska Medical Center and Lauritzen
Gardens Board ofTrustees. He is a Director at Aksarben,
Creighton University, Heritage Services and Nebraska
Game and Parks Foundation.
Gerry is the co-founder of the Fontenelle Forest Honorary
Trustee Board and has served as a Director on the Forest
Board since 2008. Along with her work at the forest, she is
involved throughout the community in several volunteer
roles.
Bruce and Gerry were married August 13, 2011, four
years after their spouses each died from cancer. Bruce has
three children and Gerry has two.Together they enjoy 11
grandchildren.
Both Bruce and Gerry lead very active civic lives in
Nebraska and enjoy hobbies, including politics, golf, skiing,
hunting and travel.
Bruce has raised funds for several elections including
co-chairing finance committees for Kay Orr’s second
campaign for Governor and Mitt Romney’s two Presidential
campaigns in Nebraska. Gerry has volunteered in political
campaigns for the last 30 years and co-chairedWomen For
Deb Fischer.
