Bill Saffore started using VertiMax equipment to help train his daughter for volleyball and other young athletes in the area. Introducing VertiMax helped Saffore create an effective training program that improved speed, explosiveness, and vertical jump. Athletes saw gains of 4 inches on average in vertical jump after 8 sessions. One of Saffore's top athletes, Michyl Shaw, improved his vertical from 24 inches to 36.6 inches over time through consistent VertiMax training and work ethic, leading to Division 1 college offers.

Bill Saffore is a family man with a
passion for helping youth athletes. Bill
was able to harness that passion when
he began training his daughter to help
her achieve the goal of making the
volleyball team.
With his daughters goal in mind, there
was a need to introduce her to speed
and vertical training. Bill started
learning the ins and outs of sports
training and purchased some
equipment to improve his daughter’s
athleticism.
My hopes in implementing the
VertiMax equipment were to
increase overall speed and
explosiveness.
I wanted my daughter to be able
to move efficiently in all
directions, the key to all athletes,
especially volleyball players and it
delivered these and more.

Because of the results Saffore helped
produce, athletes in the area started to
reach out and express their desire to
be part of his training program.
Since there weren't many facility
options in the area, and with Bill
creating a results oriented program
that athletes were engaged and excited
to train in, he became a go to option.
Overall most athletes expressed
“they felt different” after several
sessions. Their bounce or vertical
was usually the first comment.
My average increase is four inches
in an 8-session package, which is a
difference maker, some started
dunking as they were already close.

BIGGEST BREAKTHROUGH
Like most things in athletics, the more
effort you put in, the bigger return
you’re going to get.
Saffore immediately noticed that the
athletes who were consistent in
training, improved in all the metrics
that were taken at the start of his
program.
The increased speed and explosiveness
carried over to the field of play, but
also increased their athletes
confidence.
One of my top athlete’s is Michyl
Shaw. When he started his assessment
his vertical measured 24” then 28’’,
32’’, and his last combine he jumped
36.6’’. Across the board all of his
metrics improved largely in part to
VertiMax and his incredible work
ethic.
He’s currently a senior with several
D1 and D2 offers. He can be found

an incredibly explosive athlete making
plays all over the field.
