Dr. Tassanee Lerksuthirat will present on using sentiment analysis of public opinions on Twitter to provide insights for healthcare issues like vaccinations, cancers, and narcotic drugs. Python libraries can be used to scrape, clean, and analyze Twitter data to better understand public perceptions and make data-driven decisions to increase vaccination rates, improve cancer perceptions, and raise awareness about drug use. The presentation will discuss limitations of such studies.
