3. Steven Paul Jobs was an American
Entrepreneur, businessman, inventor
and industrial designer.
He was the co-founder, chairman, and
CEO of Apple Inc.; CEO and majority
shareholder of Pixar Animation.
4. Jobs was born in San Francisco on
February 24, 1955.
His biological mother was a unweed
graduate student, who put him up for
adoption.
He completed his primary education
from Homestead High School.
Then he admitted to the Reed College.
But after six months he dropped out.

6. Steve Jobs’ career with Apple Inc. was
started when he created it with Steve
Wozniak in 1976.
Jobs convinced woz to help him create a
personal computer, The Apple-I(The Apple
One).
Jobs and Woz sold The Apple-I in 1976 for
$666.
7. Jobs said he wanted to leave Apple to work
on a more advance computer, and he would
take the best engineers from the Mac team
and started a new company called NeXT.
The operating system of the computer was
called NeXTSTEP.
The sales of this computer were so bad, that
they started selling this computer to
businesses.
8. Jobs went to Pixar. At that time, pixar was
making hardware and software.
Jobs decided to close the hardware business
because it was not making enough money.
Pixar focused on their software business,
that created 3D animation.
The first animated movie by Pixar Animation
Studio was Toy Story.
9. In 1996, Apple announced that it would buy
NeXT for $427 million.
Jobs became de facto chief after then-CEO
Gil Amelio was ousted in July 1997.
With the purchase of NeXT, much of the
company's technology found its way into
Apple products, most notably NeXTSTEP,
which evolved into Mac OS X.

11. In October 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with
cancer.
In mid-2004, he announced to his employees
that he had a cancerous tumor in his
pancreas.
But latter the doctor found that can be cured
by surgery. He had the surgery and became
fine.
Jobs died at his Palo Alto, California home
around 3 p.m. (PDT) on October 5, 2011,
