Bradley’s Appearance and concept of
Reality.

- This many frames in one display shows
the fundamental circumstances of female
char., with the interpretation of various
cardinal event of life such as, marriage,
death, war, child birth etc.
- This such symbols are widely connected
with the personal life of Virginia Woolf,
her childhood to become a writer along
suffering with all crucial circumstances.

Frame-
Nancy Plays piano – Mrs. R
keeps home-accounts and
then knits, ( one again the
affiliations of women
character with art which
provides the liberty in a
form of rational thoughts.)
Frame-
Nancy talks about women
property rights, coming
next time without
students or friends or

Lilypainting–PaulRcomes–
“AmIdisturbingyou?”–“We
artistlovesolitude”
• Lily think of ‘Landscape’?
What is she pondering
upon? For male artists,
• - She may love in solitude
for the sake of better
creation in arts along with
it we can say that she
perhaps muscularity .
Summary
This are the few parts of
their conversation where
she is trying to convince her
for her self-respect, lily
talked about her happiness
thought art and also
portrayal of Mrs.Ramsay
the way she servers and
obedient with everybody,
she must think of herself
also.
This frame symbolize the
very rational thoughts of
lily about Mrs. Ramsay.
• Lily’s room conversation between her
and Mrs. R:
• I have told you so many times to
close doors but open Windows.
• You know what is the worst fear
Most awful event that I can ever
imagine Michael should die before
me Hope I die first This is a lonely
little room
• I feel alone like it I feel alone , Is why
did not understand each other I don't
live alone I have a home father and
my painting I'm actually afraid of
being alone
• I do not serve here.
• This is MY household. I am in control
of it. . . .. only one member Michael,
I serve
Suppose he rejected you. . . . suppose
he did. . .If he push you out of the
front door.and locked it. What then.
You would starve.
• YOU DONT UNDERSTAND

Mrs. R asking Augustus
Carmichael for tobacco
taking care of make guests
Looking in the mirror – Mrs.
Ramsay
The phycology of every character must be
interpreted truly according to the steriotypicality
of human nature, observing self in the mirror in
a way interpret a lot but with the very particular
character of Mrs. Ramsay who look forward her
life as for serve to children and her husband , it is
a striking temperament of women in which wolfs
wants to rid out of it.
10
Mr. R Checking thesis chapter
scolds Mrs. R for renovation of
summer, Dining table – Mr. R – angry
mood throws food plat
-MUSCULARITY plays a huge role in
Woolf's work.
Tennis > philosophical rabbling –
Mind and Body
Mr. Ramsay is profoundly known for
his philosophical thoughts following
with his so called MUSCULARITY, he
in a way includes the philosophical
thoughts to control mind and body.
11
Mrs. R knitting, James with scissors- this
symbolize the basic work for house wife.
Daughter brings butterfly to Mr. Ramsay-
This may symbolize portrayal of daughter is
sherry soft, nurturing ,careering, merciful in
a good sides of child.
Daughter > mirror > ornaments –Ornaments
ageing typical thread of womanhood, Taking
reference of Woolf's “ room for one’s own”
where she determines the what exactly a
women need of , is in a way some money,
personal room for writing or reading and
education.
I must thought the symbolic use of
ornaments grabs the deconstruction of the
norm of ideal women.

DEMOCRACYFINALDINNER>
BOAR’SSKULL,,POLITICALTALKS>CTWORRIEDABOUT
LABOUR,POVERTY,HELPLESSNESSETC.
THE DINNER TABLE IS A KIND OF ARENA OF
DISCUSSION FOR THE RAMSAY FAMILY.
THEY GATHER THERE AND TALKED ON VARIOUS
THINGS SUCH AS POLITICS, DEMOCRACY ,
PHILOSOPHY, HELPLESSNESS ETC.
I LIKE TO CONNECT THIS EVENT WITH THE
VIRGINIA WOOLF’S LIFE AND ABOUT
BLOOMSBURY GROUP (1904) , FOR THE SETTING
OF THIS PARTICULAR TEA OR DYNIGN TABLE IN A
WAY VIRGINIA WOOLF REPERSENTS THE SUCH
VERY INNOVATIVE THINGS HAPPANIGN IN
LONDON.
AND THE OTHERE SYMBOLS OF BOAR’S SKULL
PRESENTS IN A WAY THE HISTORICAL
TENDENCIES OF PRAYING THE ANIMALS OR
ALSO TO PUT SUCH KIND OF SKULLS IN HOUSE
MAY MAKE THE REPUTATION AND COSIDERED
AS A COURAGIOUS THING.
Father checks
accounts
prepared by
Nancy.
Mr. R becomes
angry as it
does not
balance.
Mr. R > shows

ties knot.
In a boat,
to the
lighthouse
Lily starts
painting.. . .
remembers Mrs.
R and James.
Visualizes them

They reached
lighthouse. Lily’s
painting
finished.
She walks inside
the house.
. Climbs stairs to
her room . . .
shuts the door.
Recalls – ‘Closed
Doors but Open
Windows
Lies on the
bed: Dear Mr.
Briscoe, You
are a Fool.
The end
14
Count…
This all last scenes from the novel presents the firm MUSCULARITY and
the rooming power of father on daughters , for example, Mr. R > shows
boots > Lily ties knot. This story also unfolds with the excellent theme of
female art Lily starts painting.. . . remembers Mrs. R and James.
Visualizes them. Talking to this movie well catch the solid emotional
terms of women in a very artist way such as ‘Closed Doors but Open
Windows, Lies on the bed: Dear Mr. Briscoe, You are a Fool.
I thought this is the best symbolism in words which represents the
succesfull comeover of women’s rationality , the true wisdom is in a way
true knowledge of an individual.
