1. Different Language Experiences Age: 2+
Jack and Jill
when you teach children nursery rhymes you help
develop not only their language, but also their
memory and sense of rhythm.
Need; time together
What to do;
"Jack and Jill went up the hill,
to fetch a pail of water,
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
and Jill came tumbling after.
Up got Jack and said to Jill,
as in his arms he caught her,
you're not hurt, brush off the dirt,
and now we'll fetch the water."
Activity;
Fill a bucket with water in the garden, children will
love pretending it is the well and filling lots of
smaller buckets and containers from it; give them
some balls/stones, they can improve their throwing
skills by throwing them into the 'wishing well.'
