Electrical Operation and Maintenance Engineer
Centamin (Sukari Gold Mine Diesel Power Plants)
o Operation and maintenance for WÄRTSILA 5 × (8 MW ), MAK (CATERPILLAR)
5 × (7 MW) , Cummins 6 ×(1.5 MW).
o Responsible for safe start up, shut down and operation of the plant and equipment’s using
(SCADA & PLC systems) and manually.
o Daily checks for operating condition of all systems to prevent faults.
o Plant operation reporting, performance monitoring of the Plant, and different equipment, budget,
troubleshooting, preventive maintenance jobs monitoring through CMX.
o Supervising on the predictive and preventive maintenance plans.
o Have the attitude with a high level of understanding of all safety documents such as lock out/tag out,
high voltage access and vicinity permits, hot work permit, confined space entry permit, chemical
hazard, emergency response procedure etc.
o The ability to synchronize all engines with each other manually.
o Adjustment and configuration of protection Relays like (VAMP (50,210,260,265)).
o Calibration instrumentation (pressure switch, temperature switch &Transmitters).

Senior Electrical Site Engineer
HIDELECO (High Dam Electrical and Industrial Projects Company).
At the following projects:
o Wartisla Finland OY 5W18V32-(40 MW) power plant at Marsa Alam for Sukari Gold Mines
including all construction, commissioning and starting works.
o ( 3 )MAN Diesel power plants project at East Owienat valley each (4 MW) .
o Taba Wartsila Diesel power plant replacement (2*2.3MW) and transported to Marsa Allam
governmental power plant.
Job responsibilities:
o Weekly schedule planning and execution for all the electrical construction works as ( Earthling grid
Cable tray erection, LV&MV switch-gear, Transformers and all control panels, erection cable lying
and termination, Lighting system, Fire alarm system, Lightening protection system, HVAC system,
Trace heating system ……etc.).
o Doing all the pre commissioning tests as (continuity checks motors meggering motors direction
check_ MV and LV switch gear bus-bar tightening by torque wrench).
o Working with the commissioning team and attend all the commissioning tests.
o Working with the operating team and attend all performance trials.
