3. Empire
I observed a TV show called empire which is an American musical about the
Lyons who are a family who have built a business but as the company
continues to grow the past sins of how it all began begins to haunt luscious
who is the head of the company. The purpose of this show is to entertain as it
is a TV drama with a mixture of the music business and crime.
4. Different audio sounds
Music
At the start of my chosen series cookie who is the mother who scarified 7
years in jail for the company drug money was getting ready for her first family
dinner. The music is a fast hip hop tune which is helping us understand her
mood in the scenario. As she finally arrives to the restaurant the music quietly
transitions into a different genre showing us the different environment she's
in, this is also classed as aural motifs.
Dialogue
The two ex couple are having a formal conversation in the restaurant while
everything moves commonly. In the next scene around the table everyone is
paired up having a conversation but the dominant dialogue is the loudest
whilst the other around are muted.
5. Effects
Everything in the series was put louder for effect. The footsteps of people walking in the
restaurant and each person take sips of wine from their glasses to them placing it on the
table.
Indents
Finally at the end the logo of the show appears alongside the jingle of empire which last 5
seconds . This is usually show when heading for a TV break and coming back from one

Heart is an mature radio station which plays a mixture of recent and old
school tunes. The station broadcasted in London. The purpose of the show is
to entertain and inform as they broadcast live with requested music and
global news.
7. Jingle
The jingle plays in-between every song and each news report and advert. The jingle is ‘London's
heart’
Dialogue
There's a 1st person talking to the audience also sometimes alongside the music there's voiceovers of
the host
Announcements
The host announces what will be playing next and he explains the shows recent updates. They also
say the time and date as a reminder.
News report
a different host announces the global news announcements and what's going on in the world there
is also music quietly playing in the background
Interviews
To keep the audience entertained the show has games and different entertainment skills where
people can phone in and talk about the show and participate in the games.
