 Much of the focus of Non-verbal communication is face to face interaction
 Classified into three principals
 Non-Verbal communication is all about the body language of the speaker

5. ADVANTAGES OF NON-VERBAL
COMMUNICATION
 You can communicate with someone who cannot hear
 You can communicate in places where you have to avoid talking audibly
 You can communicate when a person is too far away
 Makes conversation short and brief
 Saves on time and can be used as a tool to communicate with people who do
not understand your language

 It has certain rules, conventions and principles to be followed
 Official style
 Usually professional settings
 Correct pronunciation is required

7. INFORMAL COMMUNICATION
 In contrast to formal communication
 Just a causal talk
 Happens among friends and family members
 Use of slang words
 Does not follow authority lines
 Helps in building relationships
