The WHO defines mental health as “a state of well-being in

her communi-ty “. Mental well-being is a state of mind
which can be described as the lack of negative feelings
(e.g., sadness, worry), satisfaction with life, fulfillment,
and good functioning. Well-being is defined as a pleasant
attitude toward life and a happy sensation. Self-reports
are commonly used to assess well-being since it is highly
subjective with extensive individual variation. Self-
reported measures differ signif-icantly from objective
measurements (e.g., family income, unemployment rates,
and neighborhood violence) that are frequently employed
to assess well-being. For public health monitoring
objectives, the CDC has used a variety of instruments
throughout the years, including psychometrically based,

WELL-BEING
Some of the factors affecting mental wellbeing are:
1. Physical activity: There is mounting evidence that
exercise can help people improve their mental health,
mostly by enhancing their mood and self-perception.
Experiments show that moderate-intensity exercise has a
fa-vorable influence on mood.
2. Gender variance: Men are more likely to be diagnosed
with drug addiction and antisocial personality disorder,

may characterize occupations with a high-er risk of
common mental disorders. High degrees of job discretion,
ade-quate job training, and well-defined job duties are
some of the reasons why some jobs have a low incidence of
common mental disorders.
6. Past medical history: In some studies, depression,
anxiety, sleeplessness, somatization, and obsessive-
compulsive symptoms were all linked to the presence of an
underlying medical disease. Traumatic experiences were
al-so linked to increased depressive symptomatology.

Mr. Rajesh B. Lahoti is the founder and CEO of NL
Healthcare, which he founded in 1995. They moved to
their own office in 2000; before that, items were primarily
carried from Mumbai. In 2005, Mr. Rajesh purchased a
250-square-foot store called Tirupati Surgicals. Their

As time allowed, new items were offered. As the company
grew, 12 workers, two tempos, and two managers were
hired to help handle and manage the growing workload.
Mr. Tushar S. Lahoti, an MBA graduate, joined the
company in 2004. His presence had a significant impact
on the growth of a business.
Mr. Tushar purchased a 1500 sq ft store to meet the rising
demand for space. Although this duplication occurred,
he did not find adequate time for himself - demonstrating
the potential of the company. In 2010, they established
a new company called “Doctor and Patient World
Chinchwad.” This began in a 500-square-foot store 25
kilometers from Pune. Mr. Rajesh B. Lahoti, Mr. Tushar
S. Lahoti, and Mr. Viresh K. Nyati have teamed together
to make this happen. These three businesses have been
operating effectively for the past few years.
