2. INTRODUCTION:
I did my 30 days internship from 25th June, 2019 to 25th July, 2019 under
M/s Shaurya Infravision L.L.P. (Limited Liability Partnership) in the area of
legal function of the entity under the guidance of the legal consultants
and advisors.
I was exposed to various lease, leave and license agreements, co-working
office agreements etc. which is the area of operation of the entity.
I was also exposed to legal notices, drafting of cheque dishonourment
criminal case and appearance in the Court with the Advocates.
The entity takes office premises on lease basis and then furnishes the
same on further lease or sub-lease or leave and license basis or co-
sharing basis to the companies.
The entity therefore, enters into many agreements with different types of
companies due to which it is required to consult Advocates for drafting
those agreements.
3. MAIN TASKS:
Assisting the Advocate while drafting various kinds of agreements of the
entity, legal notices, complaints etc.
Thoroughly going through the already drafted agreements, notices and
complaints so as to properly understand the basic format of the same.
Accompanying Advocates to the Court in the matters of cheque
dishonourment of the entity.
Checking the status of date of hearing of the cases related to the entity.
Understanding the procedure of drafting the agreements and registration
of the L.L.P.
Finding out the meaning of some of the legal or technical terms/ jargons
being used in an agreement.
4. THINGS I LEARNED:
Drafting an agreement: I was exposed to the different types of the
agreements like Lease Deed, Lease Agreement, Sub-lease Agreement,
Interiors, Fittings and Fixtures License Agreement, Leave and License
Agreement, Leave and License Agreement (Co-working Office), Service
Agreement for use of seats/ work stations etc.
Drafting a legal notice: I learned how to file a legal notice for the Cheque
Dishonourment case in detail as I was already aware of the format of the
same which I learned in my previous internship.
Drafting a Complaint: I also learned how to draft a complaint for the Cheque
Dishnourment case.
Basic Concepts: I understood that drafting mandatory notice Under Section
138 is to individuals and Under Section 138 & 141 is to companies of the
Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. I also learned that the ANNEXURES are
filed in a civil case while EXHIBITS are filed in case of an evidence in a criminal
case.
Reply to a Legal Notice: I also learned how to draft a reply to the legal
notices.

LICENSE AGREEMENT etc.

6. COURT VISIT:
I visited the District Court of Indore (M.P.) in the matter of M/s
Shaurya Infravision LLP v. M/s Bolguru Learning Pvt. Ltd. on 17th
July, 2019. The Magistrate of First Class asked for the differential
amount in this cheque dishonourment case i.e. two different
cheques to be issued and not in a combined form.
7. CONCLUSION:
Overall my internship of one month was a good experience. I
got a deep and inspiring insight in the office work as well as
during the Court hearing. I got an opportunity to learn basic
and many new things related to legal agreements, filing of
notices and complaints. I think there are many more concepts
which are required to be learned in future. Hence, I wish that in
future as well I will get such opportunity to expose myself to
different fields of law. I am really thankful to the entity which
spared time for me to make me learn such things. For an
aspiring Corporate Lawyer, this internship was really helpful.
