19. Prophetic vision
• Vision is God’s perspective given to humanity.
God gives the prophet a vision and we

• Vision in the Bible is synonymous with vision
from God. God shows the prophet a vision of
what is or what will be.
20. Prophetic vision comes in three ways.
1.The word of God comes to us through the
Bible.
2. Spirit-led revelation. Through prayer and
intercession.
3. Through the church.
21. • Proverb 29:18
• So “prophetic vision” comes through reading
God’s words, spending time in God’s presence,
and listening to God’s church. When we close
ourselves off to these areas, we perish.

•
•
• What can I do about it?
•
•
• How should I do it?
•
•
• When will I do it?
•
•
• What is the ultimate picture I can see in the future?

very similar to a vision statement in that it has
a future orientation.

32. Mission vs. Goals vs. Objectives vs.
Strategy vs. Executions vs. Tactics

tactics all used to achieve the mission.
33. Mission vs. Goals vs. Objectives vs.
Strategy vs. Executions vs. Tactics
• GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

They are the ends toward which effort and
action are directed or coordinated.
34. Mission vs. Goals vs. Objectives vs.
Strategy vs. Executions vs. Tactics
• ACTION PLAN/OBJECTIVES:
• These are those smaller steps you need to
take in order to accomplish your goals.

Strategy vs. Executions vs. Tactics
• STRATEGY
• Strategy is how to achieve an objective, goal

coordinate a strategy. They are definitely
a what, not a how.
• Execution is more about doing than thinking,
37. Mission vs. Goals vs. Objectives vs.
Strategy vs. Executions vs. Tactics
• TACTICS
• Tactics are devices or actions taken to achieve

consequences of our
action?”
40. Mission vs. vision
• Mission looks at today.
• Mission equals the
action.
• A mission is what an
organization does, its
action.
