This document is a fundraising request letter for a documentary film project about the Royal Horses of Morocco. The filmmaker was invited to Morocco to make the film but they are not receiving any financial support. The goals of the project are to build respect for Arabian and Berber horses by visiting their breeding farms and learning about their ancient history. A student will be assisting with post-production. The letter requests contributions to fund the project within 40 days and provides a link to the online fundraising campaign.

1. Dear Friends,
As many of you may know I have been invited to Morocco to make a film
about the Royal Horses of Morocco. I couldn’t turn this down, but
unfortunately they are not offering any financial support.
The overall goal of this project is to build a world of respect for the original
Arabian and Berber horses, and by going to the stud farms where those horses
live, we will learn about the history of their breeding from ancient times. This is
an incredible opportunity considering there have been so many mysteries
surrounding the origin of the Arabian horse
My student, Ian Spilman, from the University of California, Santa Cruz will be
helping with all the post-production for the project.
Please consider contributing to the project, as it can’t be done with out your
help (you’ll also receive all kinds of rewards for your contributions!). We have
only 40 days to raise the funding, so please help if you can.
