Designed and developed a Banking System using Salesforce.com which was a step to port to cloud technologies.
The banking system had features like debit, credit and could be customized according to the requirements.
TECHNICAL PROJECTS
Multilingual Search System for Tweets:
Developed a complete Multilingual search engine which retrieves Tweets based upon queries, with focus on
ingesting, indexing and searching twitter data in 5 different languages. The retrieved results were shown along
with summarization and faceted search filters to refine search. The data was indexed using IR models – VSM,
BM25, Language models and were evaluated on various metrics like precision, recall, ndgc, bpref values.
Using SolrLucene and Java, experimented with various retrieval models, tagged the content with named entities
like Wiki links.
Group Messenger with a Local Persistent Key-Value Table
• Implemented the Content provider and Resolver used to store all messages using a general key-value table.
Features like multicast, i.e., sending messages to multiple AVDs were implemented. The app is capable of
sending/receiving messages multiple times and handles concurrent messages using Android Studio.
PERSONAL PROJECTS
Reliable UDP:
Making UDP Reliable and Congestion-free – developed as major project using C on Ubuntu, the project had
features like concurrent server which can handle multiple clients simultaneously, reliably and without congestion.
Added the goodness of TCP into UDP and created a protocol with multiple advantages.
Blending Images:
Gradient Domain fusion – developed using MATLAB, the project had features like Poisson blending and mixed
blending and was used to make a single blended image from two images.
Developed a user friendly UI and efficient fast generation of the blended images for easy save.
