• I worked on two projects “Solar Water Heater System” and “Solar Air Conditioning System” during internship
period in Hero MotoCorp Ltd.
• The goal was to reduce the cost of washing of bike components by virtue of Component Washing Machine and Air
Conditioning System.
• For cost effectiveness of air-conditioning system, Solar Air Conditioning System is used in which LiBr-H20
absorption refrigeration cycle was preferred because of its cost and high coefficient of performance.
PROJECTS
Electro Hydraulic Forming Ongoing
Guide: Dr. Sachin D. Kore, Associate Prof., Department of Mechanical Engineering IIT Guwahati
• The goal of BTP is to study the theoretical aspects of electrohydraulic forming, calculate Forming Limit Curve
(FLC) and other parameters that defined the enhancement in formability of materials.
• An experiment setup was designed in Creo/Pro 5.0 and fabricated based on design parameters and factors of
safety.
• A FEM model was prepared for electrohydraulic forming using the utility package ABAQUS.
• Experiments were done on Al-5012 and Al-6061 metals for calculating parameters that define the efficiency of
the process and its practical applications in various industries.
Adjustable Rain Shelter for Bicycles Jan-August, 2014

• A shelter or roof was designed for cyclists which can be adjusted based on the occurrence of rains.
• A design using Antenna deployment mechanism was proposed to make the shelter adjustable
• After going through a series of product development stages the final design was modeled in Creo/Pro 5.0 and the
critical parts were dimensioned based on air drag experiments
Active Radial Magnetic Bearing July-Nov, 2013

• For an eight pole magnetic bearing with given dimensions the variation of levitation force with current density
has been verified as parabolic in nature using ANSOFT Maxwell 2D software.
• Analyzed flux distribution and magnetic field vector for different values of current densities.
• Also, a CAD model of an eight pole magnetic bearing has been developed in Cero/Pro 5.0.

As a member of the mess management committee, I was responsible for deciding the mess menu,

Organized TECHNOTHLON (International School Championship) in my district (Jhunjhunu) in the
year 2012 .It’s a part of Annual Technical festival of IIT Guwahati. I motivated school going
students for Participating in this exam and getting some experience of higher education/research.
EXTRA CURRICULARS
• An active member of our college NCC (National Cadet Corps) team from August 2011 to April
2013.
• Participated in the Spirit (inter college sports meet for colleges in Assam) held at IIT Guwahati
as a member of hockey team.
• A member of Drama team of Hostel in Manthan (inter hostel culture festival) 2011 and secured
2nd position.
• A member of my hostel hockey team which won bronze medal two times in Spardha, which is
the inter hostel sports tournament .
