Project 1:

Projects Undertaken: Vodafone CEN project
Job Description:
• Vodafone migrated the existing TDM infrastructure to Internet Protocol (IP) based
Infrastructure for VF Carrier Ethernet Network (CEN) & for expansion of Network.
• Hands on experience on Juniper Routers MX104, MX480, MX960 & Switches EX 4200 &
EX 4300.
• Configurations of routers for various services of Abis, Iub, OAM services & configurations
of BSC, RNCs, MGW by creating the routing instances for them, for 5 circles after the
confirmation by the field team & troubleshooting the same on occurrence of errors.
• Troubleshooting & coordinating with the field team, for the site down(BSC,RNC) problems
& verify if everything is fine in our CEN network.
• Performed the upgrades of the Junos Routers & switches from R12 to R14.
• Taking the handover of the site from the project team & verify the basic configurations in
them before adding that into RADIUS Server , SNMP server & monitoring tool WANDL of
CEN team.
• Oncall support at NOC for various problems encountered at sites or fields. Also checking the
routes & ping responses at CEN.
• Performed the activities of failover testing for various BSC & RNCs of circles.
• Performed the activities of migration of sites from one BSC to another.

2. • Addition of various new sites of 4g for the various routers of Kerala circles.
• Troubleshooted the issue, in which all the sites Abis, Node b & OAM services are not
reachable/down to RNC,MGW & OSS. So checked & found that the configuration of AS for
the RNC,MGW etc are wrong. Corrected the same and problem resolved.
• Troubleshooted the issue, of router switch over failing case & found the issue of VRRP
flapping.
• Troubleshooted the ISIS flapping issue at CEN network.
• Troubleshooted of the latency issue for the traffic path from RNC to MGW of various circles.
So diverted the traffic to alternate path by changing the metric cost of the router for
resolution.

Job Description:
• Currently handling the CSRs of the RECA region in the Broadband Access domain
supporting the Swedish customers like Teliasonera, Tele 2 & Haminanenergia.
• Working on the Ericsson DSLAMs like EDA 1200 which support the physical, Data Link
layers along with some features of layer 3 protocols.
• Solved CSRs(customer support request) and other related problems for various
customers in broadband technologies like ADSL, VDSL, GPON & FTTX.
• Troubleshooting the problems related with the PVC , VLAN and other configuration
issues.
• Troubleshooting the problems based on SNMP management & its communication with
the system, multicasting issues like picture freezing, delayed switching etc for IPTV
multicast services.
• Providing all kind of service support for Broadband and IPTV connection
• Trouble-shooting problem of Ericsson DSLAMS for service down cases and getting
them resolved within SLA.

used for the node management of the broadband, Optical & Microwave nodes as a plug
