Hindustan Zinc., a group company of Vedanta Plc., is one of the largest integrated producer of
lead/zinc in the world with a mining/smelting capacity of 1MT Metal, silver refining capacity of 500T,
captive generation of 475MW, wind power generation of 275 MW and sulphuric acid of 1.5 million
tonne with a turnover of over $2.3b and a EBITDA margin of more than $1.2b.
