RAIN CITY JUST GOT A LITTLE BIT BRIGHTER
VANCOUVER, B.C. – For the first time in Canada, To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is setting up a
home in Vancouver, B.C. They wish to invite you to unite with the community and join the cause of
learning to love one’s self and help others learn to accept who they are and embrace life. There are so
many people suffering in the world from debilitating mental conditions and help is on its way! Rain city
is finally ready to welcome TWLOHA and the new movement of love and self-respect, Monday, February
11th
2012.
121 million people worldwide, suffer from depression. TWLOHA supports the recovery of all people,
targeting teenagers and young adults, who suffer from depression, substance abuse and suicidal
tendencies. Unfortunately, only 10% of people yearly get the help they need. The goal with opening a
new office in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown core neighbourhood of Commercial Drive, is to be
completely accessible to anyone requiring services, is to sell merchandise and launch a new street team
to bring awareness and build love and trust; not only within society, but within themselves. TWLOHA
will offer services such as, counseling, rehabilitation, group therapy, and motivational speaking.
“We want to help the world learn to love. So many people want to help and that’s why we are
progressing to an office with a new crew of 10 very enthusiastic people. First stop is Canada and then we
can move onto the rest of the world, sharing our collective stories and mending hearts through
compassion and demonstration.” - Jamie Tworkowski (Founder/Creative Director)
We encourage people to contact us by email at info@twloha.com, or simply come in and see us. Know

Mission statement - To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope
and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists
to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
