The Mayimba Project helps
children, teens, and families
reach their greatest potential
through motivation, self-love
and empowerment
workshops. Our mission is to
be the voice, safe place, and
platform for all survivors from
all parts of the world
regardless of their sexuality,
race, and religion.
Promoting self-love and new
beginnings will decrease
suicide, sexual abuse, and self-
inflicted pain through various
success stories from survivors.
Our vision is to break future
cycles with educational social
experiments and material, as
well as motivation. We will
unite and collaborate with
other organizations and
communities around the world
to change and save lives.
Let’s plant seeds of
everywhereLOVE
The Mayimba Project has proven
that preventing and spreading
awareness can successfully
decrease issues before they occur.
Therefore, we plan to stop cycles in
a more productive and creative
way.
PROGRAMS
 Create age appropriate awareness
programs. Implement classes to spread
awareness about self-love, abuse, and
the trust circle. Educate the difference
of what is acceptable or inappropriate
with our “No touch zones” mentoring
material.
 Establish a Safe House. The Safe house
will provide temporary shelter,
rehabilitation program and job
placement assistance.
 Monthly mentoring classes for our
youth and adults
 Quarterly empowerment seminars
 Conduct social experiments to bring
awareness and impact lives.
 Connect with other organizations to
offer our services and assistance.
 Create jobs that decrease abductions.
 Credited referral services and
assistance
 One-on-one mentoring from our
advocates via phone or live video.
 Walk-a-thons
 Holiday toy collections

and a unique voice that
many people do not have.

PURPOSE
IMPORTANT
COUNT
MATTERS
IMPACT
The Mayimba Project officially
became a non-profit 501c
September 2015 but its roots go
back to 2012. Its founder Marial
Alvarez also known as
“Mayimba”, a survivor herself,
chose to use her voice and life
lessons to turn negatives into
positives. It started with one
person and a dream. Fast
forward to today, Ms. Alvarez
and her continuously growing
team of advocates worldwide
have dedicated themselves to
supporting and mentoring
survivors. Through educational
and social outreach, we teach
people to value their lives, their
health and their future goals.
With hundreds of success stories
and lives saved, we strive to
continue making a difference.
THE DIFFERENCE
The Mayimba Project acts as a voice for the
people around the world. What separates us
from other organizations is that all of our
advocates, counselors, and helpers are
what make our team. Our motivation IS our
team. We choose every day to want a
better life, regardless of our past, which
brings more value to us as a whole.
Although we can refer victims to
professional help, our support group has
proven to be more effective through our
success testimonials.
Personal stories, publicly expressed, provide
others with a better understanding, even to
those who cannot relate. They demonstrate
the necessity for improvement in our
communities.
