12. Leadership surrounds us
everywhere. Leadership is not a
position, but is what you do.
Leadership is who you are.
Mahatma Gandhi was a great
leader. But he neither had a title
nor an office.
– LEADERSHIP IS DEFINED BY
ACTIONS, NOT TITLES
13. Each of you is a leader. Each of you can go out
and make a difference. Some of you will follow
your dreams and become entrepreneurs; others will
join companies or NGOs, but wherever you are,
remember that anything you do in life is largely up
to you.
– EVERYONE HAS A LEADER IN THEM
14. Nobody is successful by luck alone. People
are successful because they work at it and
believe in what they do. This is true for great
politicians and business people.
– HARD WORK IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS
15. Another quality of leadership is the ability to
effectively communicate and share your
dream with others. There are enough people
who will come together with you to create the
change you want to make, but this requires
great energy, great discipline, and effective
communication.
– GOOD LEADERSHIP DEMANDS GOOD
COMMUNICATION
16. There are enough leaders who have
great ideas but if an idea cannot be
converted into action, nothing really
happens. Leadership is the ability to
transform the way we behave, live, to
transform societies, cultures, to create
progress. Whatever you do is an idea; it
is a belief, a principle.
– LEADERSHIP IS ABOUT ACTION
17. Leadership is not just about conviction. It is
about converting that conviction into
action.
a. Leaders are people who believe in who they
are and believe in others.
b. Leaders are people, who have a vision for the
future and a trust that it can be attained.
c. Leaders are people who galvanize action and
never give up.
d. Leaders are people who create around them a
group of energetic people, who share their
dream, and also work towards fulfilling the
dream.
