To belong to, to own / noe som tilhører eller eies
NOR:
Stina sin bil eller
Stinas bil
(IKKE Stina’s – kun apostrof hvis navnet slutter på s-lyd, som Lars’ bil)
ENG:
The car of Stina or
Stina’s car (used more often)
Singular: The boy’s ball (one boy)
Plural: The boys’ ball (more than one boy)
If there is a s-sound (singular, one person):
Ross’s ball (most used) or
Jesus’ ball (some exceptions (unntak))
