The Bristol Food Policy Council is a strategic body comprised of 12 representatives from the food sector, business, public, and community that aims to bring about a sustainable food system in the city. It works by providing an evidence base to support policies that ensure good food, promoting events to reconnect people with food, seeding the ground for change, and supporting new projects through sharing skills, advice, and help with resources. The Council partners with city leadership to implement a food systems planning process and enact long-term culture change around food.
