• Miramax is a potential main stream
distributor as it has released films such
as reservoir dogs when the company
used to be independent. This would
gain the interest of a large audience
due to the company having an history
of distributing successful thriller films
and is a part of a conglomerate
company.
Paramount
• Paramount is another possible
mainstream distributor for our film as it
has distributed popular endorsed films
such as shutter island. Due to its release
of a film such as this it could be a
distributor for our film due to them
both being thrillers.
3. INDEPENDENT
Warp Films
• Warp Films are a small British targeted
institution. This is a more realistic
possible distributor as it doesn't
distribute high budget films and
targets British Audiences. Due to our
film having British actors and having a
low budget Warp films could distribute
our thriller as they a realised Dead
mans shoes which is a psychological
thriller that follows someone though a
personal state.
The Weinstein Company
The Weinstein Company is an American
based micro film distribution company
that has distributed films such as The
Imitation Game. Due to both films being
thriller films focusing around a single
character, the company has a well known
past and record of distributing great films
making the film reach a wide audience.
