THESIS: THE CITADELLE HENRY: A HAITIAN HERITAGE UNDERSTOOD THROUGH HISTORICAL & CONTEMPORARY RESTORATIONS
Different than my bachelor, in this second step of my education, I not only strengthened what I learned about
designing new structures but I mainly learned about how to deal with what is already existing and worked on
the process of preserving, restoring and reconstructing historical buildings.
Wentworth Institute of Technology, Massachusetts
Bachelor of Sc. in Architecture – Tectonic Studies September 2008 – August 2012
During my bachelor education, I worked on residential and commercial projects. Mostly theoretical, I learned
how to design structures from the ground up. My concentration in Tectonic Studies allowed me to
comprehend the qualities and behavior of materials and therefore, enhanced my understanding of how a
building responds to users/site/climate/period of time with the materials choice.
