The warning signs of sexual violence in the workplace are clear.
Unwanted touching (sexual harassment)
Inappropriate jokes (sexual harassment)
Demands for sexual favors in exchange for any promised promotion or other
work related action (sexual harassment)
Fighting be it physical or verbal assaults (violence)
Unwarranted or unwelcome advances (harassment/violence)
Threats of termination for refusal to accept advances (harassment)
Stalking or threats to physical safety (violence)
As always, if it seems inappropriate or makes you uncomfortable,
it is likely against the law!

• You are Federally protected against retaliation when filing a claim
or reporting an incident.
• Your Human Resources representative can start your report,
research the incident and serve as your advocate during
investigation.
• You have a right to file a complaint for review with the EEOC
• If you see others being the victim of such abuse, you have the
right to report it.
• Refer to your HR representative and/or Employee Handbook for
a full overview of the policy and procedures for reporting.
