EMPLOYMENT
IUAS Operator 47 Regiment Royal Artillery 2009 - present
The Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Brigade of the British Army, 47 Regiment Royal
Artillery is one of the regiment that deals with the Integrated Unmanned Air System (IUAS), Desert
Hawk III. My role as an Operator (IUAS-OP) is to work with a team of 4 - 5 crew members to execute
and fulfil the principles of air worthiness when we deploy anywhere in the world on operations and any
support engagements.
 Motor Transport Department Supervisor, planning routes, checking loads, basic vehicle
maintenance and vehicle roadworthiness
 Worked in the Stores, receiving deliveries and allocating supplies, entering details on in-house
computer systems
 Launching, recovery, and safety on the ground and in the air
 Ensuring vehicle is operating safely in conjunction with other air traffic
 First level maintenance of the unmanned system including working on the airframe
 Record keeping and ensuring the workshop sanitation

2. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Operation Escalin (Fuel Tanker strike standby Operative) 2015; driving fuel tankers in the South
of England
• Experience in driving , on time and self-supervised with a sense of urgency
• Done Various Exercises and support engagements, in Kenya, Canada, Germany, USA – California.
Also worked as part of detachments support in UK.
• Been on operation in Afghanistan (Herrick 15) - 10/2011- 2012
• Operation Olympics Security Operative 2012; checking visitors to the Olympics for potential
risks/threats
