The Client that I am working is a leading-edge provider of billing and accounting software for the electric
utility industry. Currently Client serves over 200 utility providers in 33 states with its proprietary
UtilityPowerNet (UPN) application for billing, accounting and capital credits. The company also offers
utilities comprehensive financial services (remittance processing and e-bill presentment and payment) and
an Executive Dashboard System, which allows utility executives to constantly monitor real-time
performance metrics.
Description: UtilityPOWERnet (UPN) was developed based on the needs and requirements of today's
modern utility system. UPN is an advanced browser-based application that is both easy to use and easy to
learn. This robust software offers point-and-click navigation and incorporates drill-down functionality.
UtilityPOWERnet (UPN) is SEDC's flagship product aimed at the utilities (Electric, water, gas) industry. It
includes Consumer Billing, General Accounting, and Capital Credits systems that allow our customers to
take care of their day-to-day operations.

GA Misc project applies several maintenance changes within the General Accounting system. Including
are:
 Modify Invoice lines from Approval System
 Modify Approval History to display the next approver
 Modify approval request details to display the next approver
 Allow user to modify the purchase order quantity, if purchase order is linked to requisition system
 Modify calculation for Payroll GTL insurance to include supplemental insurance
 Modify Journal Entry to provide Auto reversal capability.
 Implement an ‘Auto reversing JE’ checkbox in the header section.
 Modify E-Time entry option to process the vacation and sick edits based on new parameter
 Added Approved Date to the Job module to allow for recalculation of aspects like Reorder inquiry.

UPN Approval System : (JAN 2013 to NOV 2014 )
Description: The Approval process begins with the submission of an approval request from the requisition
system (Accounts payable or Purchase order or Leave Request system) to the approval system and
terminates with either approval or denial of the requisition done at the line level.
As part of SEDC’s strategic initiative, V34 release of SEDC’s General Accounting System will provide
Approval capabilities for General, Material and Vehicle Parts requisitions, Accounts Payable system
(Invoice entry, Imported Invoices & Template Posting), Leave Request, Purchase Order system.
The Approval system will offer the ability to route the approval requests by individual lines Requisition
Purchase Order Invoice Leave Request.
The use of the Approval system will be elective

• Mid-America Regional Council (MARC)(Feb 2011 to Aug 2011)
The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is the association of city and county governments and
metropolitan planning organization serving the bi-state Kansas City metropolitan area. MARC assists local
governments and public agencies work together to address problems that cross jurisdictional boundaries
and to take advantage of opportunities to maximize resources by working together. MARC provides
support to the Regional Homeland Security Coordinating Committee (RHSCC) and its various
subcommittees, including the Public Health Subcommittee.
Local health departments (LHD) have been charged with preparing to provide medication to every
resident within a 48 hour timeframe in the case of a bioterrorist attack or other severe public health
emergency. To do so, LHDs will receive a large amount of medical materiel from state and federal
partners. Provide medication to individuals as they come to the emergency public health clinics, and track
which medication has been provided to which patient in case of a medication recall.
