Current Prop List for Filming
Rope

This is used to tie up the victims in the void. This will be
used to wrap around their legs and arms, and bound to
the chair so it is hard for them to escape. If rope can't
be used, than easy alternatives can be found such as
wires from unused electronics. We can acquire rope
from a DIY store.
Talcum Powder (Optional)

This is to create the pale, and ghost effect that we will use for
the paranormal version of Rachel. This will be dabbed on her
face only, since all other parts of the body will be concealed. This
can be bought from our local Sainsburys, or a pharmacist.
Chairs (Optional)

As mentioned with the rope, this will be used to bound the victims of
Rachel in the void. Using chairs and ropes will make it harder for the
victims to escape, and radiate a sense of isolation and confinement.
This can be borrowed from the room before we go into the void.
Duct Tape

This will be used in order to constrain the victims of speaking. This will
be used to cover their mouths, so that they become inaudible. This will
also suggest isolation, since it means that the victims can’t move their
mouths. This can be borrowed from the art department.
Flowers

It would be laid in front of a door to symbolise the location of Rachel's
death. These will be authentic flowers that can be bought from a
florist, to reflect the realism of the trailer.
Pills

We would have to use non-hazardous pills which we can use to be scattered and slightly pour out
Rachel's mouth. This would be used to give the effect that she has overdosed, which would be
emphasised through the slight blood dripping off the mouth. I have some amino acids at home,
which are performance enhancing pills for training. It doesn’t have any hazards to overdosing if
swallowed, so we will most likely use that as it’s safe to use. I will supply the pills.
Fake Blood

This would be given in a tube, all pre-made. This is to give off the effect
that blood has been created as a result of self-harm. As mentioned
before, this would be used to help create a death, or a battered effect.
Other scenes fake blood may be used in would be running scenes, and
abduction scenes towards the end of the trailer. This can be borrowed
from the art department.
Football

We have used the football to symbolise the social activity between a group of
friends. This will help give an insight to the culture of teenage boys in England
to a global audience, creating a voyeuristic attention towards the trailer. This
will be borrowed from the physical education department.
Phone

This was used as a symbol of modern technology. This prop is
very significant, since in our context, it represents how
modern technology could be used as a form of cyber-bullying
and viral information. We will use Will’s phone for this trailer.
Camera

This will be our device to film our shots with. This can either be used
handheld, or perched on top of a tripod for still shots. This will be
borrowed from the media department, or we could use Will’s camera.
Tripod

This will be used to ensure that all shots with the camera
are still. This will also ensure that the camera is safe since
it can be screwed onto the tripod. This will be acquired
from the media department.
