3. This is a brief introduction of myself. My name is Sonali Rhaman Azmi .
I was born and grew up in Pabna it is a district town which is locate in the northern part of
Bangladesh. I am only daughter of my parents. I am a person who is positive about every aspect of
life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience.
I have completed my Masters of Arts from the faculty of Communication & Media Studies from the
University of Development Alternative, (UODA) Dhaka.

4. Showroom organization & maintenance, assists all business units and design team with requests of
showroom setup for client sales meetings and showroom allocation for both Gulshan and DOSH
office. Maintain buyer meeting calendar to organize showrooms particular to the requirements of the
client. Handling of all incoming and outgoing samples. Maintaining regular sample supplies to
showroom. Track items on loan from showroom and ensure its is put back to its original place.
Maintain and record all fabric coming from china office and co-ordinate with BUs (Business Unit).
Updating in MIS (Management Information System) on all samples in showroom regularly with
picture and proper information. Assist Design team in preparation of presentation from Showroom /
Library (PowerPoint, PDF, Spreadsheets).

5. Management Information System defined in three parts Management, Information and System
(MIS). Management is an art of getting thing and with the systems in organize group. MIS is planned
system of controlling storing in form of information, MIS provide information that organization need to
manage, MIS provide computer based system use for managing three primary components. First is
technology, second are people and third is data. Information is a product of data processing. A
System is defined as set of element which are joint together to achieve it’s specify goals. The
elements are inter dependent and inter related. A system has one and multiple inputs these inputs
process through transformation process to convert this inputs to outputs.

6. • MIS is very important to our today's technology, due to the business extremely depends over the
information displays onto daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• This System plays a great role in adding value to the work.
• Management Information System is just like a planning before a work to do.
• We can complete our job easily if we use the concept of Management Information System.
• MIS play a major role for management, it leads management to take strategic business decision.
• MIS reporting has improved due to new accounting and management systems.
WHAT IS MY OPINION ABOUT THE SYSTEM?

7. Build easy and effective communication channel No two people hear the same thing the same way
and get exactly the same sense and purpose. Constant, clear communications is vital in having
everyone on the same page and run the business like a well and coordinated machine and execute
tasks precisely. Also digitized communication content could be turned into knowledge and could be
used to keep track of commitments.

8. Almost every business has an IT professional, department, or outsourced IT service. This is because
information systems are the backbone of any business. The information systems department is
responsible for maintaining the hardware, software, data storage, and networks that comprise the
firm’s IT infrastructure.
MIS ensures that an appropriate data is collected from various sources processed and then further
send to individuals or to the top management. It helps top management in goal setting, strategic
planning and evolving the business plans and their implementation. The functions of MIS data
capturing, data storage, data processing, information distribution, forecasting, planning and control
within a company.

system and technologies have become a vital component for successful businesses and organizations.

captured in transactions are the source of information of about the business, which could be turned into

4. Relationship : Give the power back to customers, vendors and employees to fulfill their needs through
self-service. Also track, maintain and improve the business relationship.
5. Productivity : Better Resource Management/ Improve productivity /Reduce time to complete a
task/Schedule Management Getting things done quickly and efficiently with less error is the main motto of
implementing any system.
6. Management : Understand business at ground from the top more need to depend on systems to
understand the status and ground reality of the business. Track, control and respond to the business
instantly
12. MIS differ from regular information systems because the primary objectives of these
systems are to analyze other systems dealing with the operational activities in the
organization. In this way, MIS is a subset of the overall planning and control
activities covering the application of humans, technologies and procedures of the
company. Within the field of scientific management, MIS is most often tailored to the
automation or support of human decision making.
As organizations grow, MIS allows information to move between functional areas
and departments instantly, reducing the need for face to face communication among
employees, thus increasing the responsiveness of the organization.
