Welcome to Leicester’s
new home for
contemporary art
Our new gallery opened
successfully late last year
with the ground-breaking
exhibition Art, Life, Activism.
Our second exhibition
reaffirms our commitment
to a discovery-led approach
to contemporary art,
bringing to Leicester for
the first time internationally
acclaimed Lucy + Jorge Orta.
This solo exhibition
marks the official opening
ceremony of the centre’s
new £1.5 million gallery, one
of the largest contemporary
art galleries in the region.
We would like to thank all
of the donors who made
this possible, and our
funding partners: Arts
Council England, University
of Leicester, Garfield
Weston Foundation and the
Attenborough family.
We look forward to seeing
you very soon!
