There is a herculean task of intergovernmental communication, IT plumbing, technological progression, and entry to new partners at hand (or rather, at bay).

Common Sense and a Sense of Urgency.
Technologist, Facilitator, Intrapreneur.
City and County of San Francisco Mayor's Innovation Fellowship Application Resume
2. My mission, with the access to the COIT 2016-2020
budget and with the participation of MOCI, is to
bundle big ideas and deliver them as city wide
campaigns to drive San Francisco towards
recognition as a 2017 Digital City*. This goes hand-in-
hand with the city’s IT infrastructure plans and I’m
confident that I can streamline my wide network and
resources to run effective programs that enhance the
connectivity of San Francisco.

3. A Solution
Trend Positive. SF tech continually sets the
bar for the US - heck - the Free World just like
New York does for fashion. Why shouldn’t SF’
s Office of Civic Innovation aim to be trend
setters locally that will address the entire
information community.
It’s time to welcome an
Intrapreneur as an Innovation
Fellow to bring some big thought
initiatives to the table that can be
launched out of SF, influence SF,
and engage with SF. There is a
herculean task of
intergovernmental communication,
IT plumbing, technological
progression, and entry to new
partners at hand (or rather, at bay).
4. “Let us expand collaboration and
integration beyond the intelligence
community and Department of
Defense to federal, state, and local
governments as appropriate.

5. Sister Act
Innovation
encompasses so
many practice areas.
With San Francisco’s 18
sister cities, I bet that we
can design an
unparalleled
engagement
opportunity for tech,
cyber, tourism, mobile
banking & more. By
cross-channeling the
sister city network of
tech communities,
venture leaders, and
innovators, SF’s civic
engagement, just like
our population &
companies, will go
global.

& Approach to
Innovation

7. Let’s Get to Work
Step 1
Community
Figure out the digital ethics
and connectivity of our
community. How can we
champion this in our
backyard to then broaden it
to a sophisticated network
(with a companion product)
with our our sister cities?
How can we democratize the
connectivity of SF?
Step 2
Opportunity
A first ever Cultural Share
(Digital and Local), Security,
Education, Expansion
program that is rooted in SF
and engaged in the network.
Take ideas, partners and
technologies from our
community and expand them
to other places so they can
grow.
Step 3
Tech & Data
SF will hold a new key - a
pipeline for global insights on
travel, spending, interest,
education innovation, venture
ecosystems, collaboration, and
more. By bringing in local
partners and governmental
orgs to assist and share their
tools with our sister cities, the
opening of proprietary insights
in the data is immense.
8. Why a multifaceted engagement?
Because I believe that there is an urgency to
democratize a hyper-connectivity, drive collection of
valuable and attainable new data, push limits of
innovation and education, excite SF’s population to
travel and have more people come travel here, but most
importantly, have a digital platform that increases
security awareness, showcases a complex stack/city
network, and is inherently San Franciscan. I come with a
robust network across the valley of ready partners.
9. Why now?
+Because there is
tremendous growth
opportunity to innovate
even more with the
offerings in the 2016-
2020 COIT plan and
funds to start this
initiative.
