project in North west Kenya.
South Sudan

infrastructure across the Darfur

people at 32 clinics by 55 medical
personnel.
Ethiopia
Medical audit of facilities including
hospitals, clinics and airport
medevac capability.
Madagasgar
Following a medical audit and health risk
assessment for our client, we provided them with
a French-speaking Advanced Life Support medic
with enhanced HSE skills to deliver healthcare on
their seismic operations, as well as supplying
medical equipment and supplies to the project.
Uganda
We delivered a robust and socially
responsible medical solution to
localize the provision of medical care
on our client’s Ugandan operations.
An intensive training program and

CASE STUDY
EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS FOR BP IRAQ
AS SOLE MEDICAL PROVIDER FOR BP IRAQ, FRONTIERMEDEX IS PUSHING THE
BOUNDARIES FOR LOCALIZATION IN AN INITIATIVE THAT AIMS TO PROVIDE A
WIDE-REACHING, FULLY LOCALIZED MEDICAL DELIVERY WITHIN 3 TO 5 YEARS.
FrontierMEDEX has exceeded its 6% minimum target for local capacity, now running, developing and
expanding medical delivery for the Rumaila Oil Organization, with more than 60% of roles currently
undertaken by local national staff.
• Following ten months of intensive training, seven local national doctors are now qualified to ACLS
level, the first to achieve this standard in Iraq.
• Three local clinics, growing to five by the end of 2013, are staffed and supplied by FrontierMEDEX,
predominantly with local nationals.
• FrontierMEDEX-developed training has been given to Iraqi ambulance drivers, the first western-
certified qualification of its type in-country.
• Our FrontierMEDEX ambulance supervisor is working to develop a first cohesive ambulance service
to enhance emergency medical delivery.
