will give students great workplace
access from leading employers in the
Personal Injury Sector.
Students are provided with “day in
the life of” experiences with experts
in the field.
It will allow students to network and
gain insights that help broaden the
horizon of career possibilities. It’s a
positive first step into the corporate
world.

EMPLOYER INSIGHTS AND PREPARATION
Guest speakers offer valuable insights in to
their career journey in the industry. Workplace
culture and occupational fit is discussed along
with how to make a good first impression in a
new workplace.
INDUSTRY OVERVIEW AND LEGAL SERVICES
Students will spend half a day with a leading
Victorian law firm to learn about their role in this
sector, followed by attendance at the Personal
Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) and
WorkSafe Victoria to learn about the industry as
a whole and its opportunities.
WOOLWORTHS LIMITED
Woolworths’ Supply Chain Operations is
opening its doors up to show students how
safety is managed onsite including a tour of a
distribution centre.This is followed by
attending Big W to learn about their approach
to safety, health and wellbeing.
RECOVERY AND RETURN TO WORK
Offering a day in the life of a Rehabilitation
Consultant, students learn about the role in
helping people recover at work following
injury and partner up with a consultant for the
day to shadow.
INJURY AND CLAIMS MANAGEMENT
Unique access to a Work Cover Agent,
students will obtain direct experience to key
roles in Claims Operations that help injured
workers recover and return to work.
TAC / NDIA
The Transport Accident Commission and the
National Disability Insurance Agency host
students in their Geelong headquarters to
learn about the wide range of services they
provide in our community. Students will learn
about Disability Management and the
National Disability Insurance Scheme as well
as how TAC help people recover from road
trauma.
PROGRAM CLOSURE EVENT
Industry Certificates of Participation are
presented to students at the conclusion of
Day 6, recognising their program experience.
