 NPD, Re-engineering, VAVE, Design of Industrial Valves using CAD software’s like

Independently Leading and contributing number of projects of 3D conversions by applied
GD &T & provide design solutions for Pressure Relief Valve, butterfly valve, check

Value Engineering Projects:-
• Cryogenic Shut Off Valve: - Optimization and cost reduction by optimizing the body
weight along with manufacturing process change. Project is driven by using the Six
sigma tools like FAT, Morphological matrix, Pugh Concept, DOE, DFMEA DFM/DFA
and Design score cards.
NPD Projects:-
 NPS Float Design for Float Gauge
Responsibility:-
• Redesign the NPS float of magnetic level gauge indicator.
• Body redesign to meet the expected PT ratings with ~ 20% cost reduction.
• Identifying the key design parameters to optimize the float design.
• Various concepts and its FEA analysis carried out to verify its validation.
• Vendor development and lab testing to compare/benchmark the existing products.
• Casting and machining drawing release for manufacturing.

 NPD PRV Valve Isoflex Design.
Responsibility:-
• Redesign the all internals parts of existing valve to meet new PT ratings.
• Trim parts like Disc Insert, Holder, Spindle etc redesign to meet the expected PT ratings
and flexing of the disc insert.
• Material selection for the process flow medium and PT ratings.
• Identifying the key design parameters to optimize the disc insert design.
• Various concepts and its FEA analysis is carried out to verify its validation.
• Prototype development and lab testing to compare/benchmark the existing products.

 Butterfly Valve - Design validation and approval of ‘Butterfly Valve’ for nuclear
application as per RCC-M standards (French Regulation) using Linear Elastic Method,
Limit load analysis method and elastic-plastic analysis of entire valve and separate
