December 2006 – 2016: Counselling clients with Mental illness and Psychological / Emotional
disturbances. Providing coping techniques & rehabilitation, conflict resolution. Empowering clients to
resolve issues within them selves, building self worth, with concrete steps to move forward.
May 2016 - Counseling at your Mall step with the Poddar foundation -
During Mental Health Awareness week, every day from 11am - 6pm we provided free counseling to
people at R city mall - Ghatkopar, with a phenomenal response. We educated and listened to what
people thought about Mental Health. It was astonishing to see the overwhelming need of people to have
someone to speak to. We counselled an average of 50 people a day with 3 - 4 Counsellors.
This skill is particularly important and holds great value when interacting with people in any field.
Knowing how to get the best out of an individual and team is something that requires insight and this
has helped me in all my various careers.
