Perform product design evaluations, verifications and qualifications and new model checklists to
guarantee high quality optical disc drives prior to its launching for Mass production.
Design/improve write strategy by changing source codes to optimize writing and reading
performance of optical disc drives.
Conduct Failure Analysis to determine the failed mechanism on drives.
Facilitate training on basic principles of write strategy and machine handling, calibration,
maintenance and other processes to new/co- employees (technicians, operators and engineers).
Support and make detailed schedule(with the expected target date completion of the
project/model) and daily report of whole media write development model status
Analyze and report on data associated with quality/development issues encountered by
customers and make necessary countermeasures by investigation in coordination with ODD
customers.
Conduct daily meeting with inspectors to discuss test assignments, quality and market issues and
changes in Buyer specification per model based on Engineering Change Notice released by
related departments.
Maintains, repairs, tests and calibrates machines and make new templates for module testing
related to write quality required by ODD customers.
Submit test result, follow up and make Failure Analysis reports of defective product detected
during qualification
