This study sought to develop, implement, and evaluate a Jordanian SIDS Education Prevention Program (JSEPP) to reduce SIDS mortality rates in Jordan. A mixed methods study used questionnaires and focus groups to evaluate changes in healthcare providers' SIDS knowledge and practices after receiving JSEPP training. Findings showed improved provider knowledge and ability to educate families on SIDS risks. However, barriers like home environments, sleeping practices, and cultural factors were identified. The study recommends further research on infant care practices among high-risk groups in Jordan and expanding JSEPP's reach to address barriers.
