3. Our idea
We came up with a You Tube channel on hair styles, as
some women do not know how to do their hair independently.
We found out that our channel has lots of competition.This is
because there are also other channels on hair.
However what will make our channel unique is that wewe are
working with ranges of different ethnicities and hair

East London media are a digital media company that
produce Youtube channels .The company would like
you to create an advert for one of its new channels.
Working as a part of a production team you are
required to produce a 30-second advert for 15-19 year
olds.
Your production can be for a channel in any genre as
long as it is relevant and engaging to the target
audience and uses the proper codes and convention.

5. Target Audience
 We do not have a target audience due to and
observation of a large variety of people not being
able to do their hair independently.
 Furthermore we decided to work with all ethnicites
due to our observations.

Include disturbing or disgusting video footage

gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability or

11. Our idea and the brief
Our idea does fit with the client brief. The target audience for our channel
is focus on women .The age group works with the age group set . The
audience is however gender specific. Which doesn't’t necessary fit the
brief.

14. Planning logistics
Time Management:
 We will do our recordings on:
 Saturdays and Sundays.
 We will be posting our videos:
 on Mondays and Fridays.
 Our videos will be uploaded at an appropriate time, and that time
would be 8:00am.
 All the editing will be done the same days as the recordings, however
the recordings will be done earlier in the day, for example around
10:00am and the editing will be done around 6:00pm-6:30pm.

15. Planning Logistics
Presenters and crew Decisions:
Our presenter decides on what hair styles will be done on each model,
and as a crew we decided if it is a suitable decison or not.
Also as a crew we decide on the hair products that are needed, we also
decide on the prices of specific hair products that will be used on the
models in specific videos.
Another way we make decisions as a a crew is when deciding what
occasion wew can do the hair styles for.

16. Planning logistics
 Location(s) of Filming:
 We will do our recording in one of two places, theses places are,(1) A
Saloon or (2) A House.
 We decided on this because in a saloon you are equipped with many
of the hair products needed already. We also decided on a house
because it is a comfortable place to do things in and also it won't be as
crowded as a saloon would be.

17. Product Sponsorship
 We could be sponsored by the companies of the hair
products that will be used in our channel, for
example when we get to the views and subscribers
needed to be recognised, we could potentially be
recognised by by those companies and will then be
sponsored by them, leading to us receiving free
products to advertise for them.
