About Myself: I am very passionate about racing. Since the age of 12, I was going to
the local race track to watch races. At the age of 14 I decided I wanted
to not only watch races, but to participate in them. I worked at
McDonalds for a year until I was able to afford my very first race car.
Since the age of 15, my dedication to the sport of racing has grown. I
have been fortunate enough to win multiple races and awards. I hope to
continue to grow and succeed in the sport of racing.
I have tested with a NASCAR Camping World Truck team at Hickory
Motor Speedway. I also drove an older NASCAR Xfinity stock car 30
laps at Dover Speedway surpassing the allowed lap time at the track
under conditions.
Goals: To compete in the NASCAR Truck, Nationwide, and Cup series.

3. To whom it may concern,
Shaun Brandel is a terrific young man with a great work ethic, and the talent to
be an outstanding race car driver. I was first introduced to him six years ago
when he volunteered for our Autism Delaware charity events. He had met one of
our members, John Kelley, who is a racing enthusiast, a few years earlier. John
was a sponsor on Shaun’s car, and also is the grandfather of a child with autism.
Shaun asked John if he could carry the Autism Awareness Puzzle Ribbon decal
on his car, and started his volunteer work with our organization. I began to follow
Shaun’s career more closely, as I was impressed with his character and maturity.
As the lead director of Fox’s coverage of NASCAR, I have seen the most
talented drivers in this country. I feel that Shaun has the potential to succeed at
a high level, if given the opportunity with equitable equipment and a good crew.
He has the passion and the necessary commitment to thrive.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
