workshop 'Campus Respect' a student is introduced to university
policy as it relates to program progession, academic appeals and
accommodation, and medical notes, as well as an overview of
acceptable in-person, classroom and social media-based behavior
associated with becoming part of Western's culture of respect for
students, staff, and faculty.

The Western Student Seminar, presented in one-hour time slots
throughout the Fall and Winter terms, is designed to provide specific
resources to enable success in the first year of university and beyond.

workshop 'How to take lecture notes and how to study' students are
introduced to the fundamentals of taking effective lecture notes and
