WORK DUE TO TEACHER WALKOUT
Shows support for #RedForEd movement in Arizona.
Phoenix, AZ – April 24, 2018 – Paraffin International, Inc., the maker of Parasilk® brand

full-pay for all employees who miss work to take care of their children as a result of the
#RedForEd planned teacher and support staff walkouts occurring this week in Arizona.
“We don’t want people to have to choose between their job and their kids,” said COO Nate
Curran. “We are focused on supporting our local Arizona community where we manufacture
our Made in the USA product with proud Arizona workers, some of which have family members
who are teachers or support staff.”
The company is expecting a busier-than-usual week in manufacturing and fulfillment because of
a promotion running with a major broadcast network and may be short-handed as a result of
the #RedForEd walkouts but still believes it is important to support their employees and local
economy affected by the movement.
