It is with great pleasure that I recommend Lavelle Snellgrove for employment. I have
worked with Lavelle through Girl Scouts for 2 years now, both on our Service Unit team
(the governing body of troops) as well as at the troop level as co-leaders of a large active
middle school age troop. Lavelle is sharp, motivated, passionate, creative, and a great
asset to our team. She is also highly dedicated, and has maintained her Service Unit
position in her former unit, even after she joined our team when her daughter joined
our troop. She has selflessly been active and volunteered her time and energy for both
Service Units, and has facilitated teamwork between the volunteers in both groups. Her
enthusiasm and fresh ideas are evident with every aspect that she gets involved with.
Through her role in Girl Scouts, she has worked with scouts of all ages and is an
excellent role model in terms of maturity, character, integrity, and responsibility. She
has a way of sparking interest for learning and making learning fun. She also helps
scouts to make wise decisions while being empowered to make their own choices.
Lavelle exemplifies the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. She is a leader rather
than a follower, and I know that her ambitions will take her far on her life path.
Lavelle would be an asset to any school, company or organization that she is a part of. I
