JOB DESCRIPTION
 Operates mixing plant to produce batches of concrete from cement, sand, aggregate, water and other
 Records and confirms batch details.
 Determines composition and quantities of concrete.
 Weighs quantities of cement, sand, gravel, other additives and water using manual scales or console
controls.
 Checks position and rotation of concrete truck agitators, signals drivers to increase rotation speed and
varies discharge of materials to achieve even mixing.
 Maintain the approved Mix designs in the computer.
 Identify the mix design with proper reference number, customer name and project name.
 Maintain the batching plants in proper condition (Implementation of maintenance program)
 Coordinate with workshop engineer to carry out preventive maintenance of batching plant.
 Coordinate with shipping to get the orders to supply the concrete
 Receive the daily supply program of next day to plan for the next day program.
 Adhere with the requirements for Quality Management Systems
 Maintain Healthy Work Environment
