2. Executive Summary
The business plan outlines the launch of a moderately upscale full service wedding event
management. It is named “Fairy Lights”. Fairy Lights is an online small business. But it’s
operative office is in Green Road, Dhanmondi-5, Dhaka-1205. The owners of this business are
Ms. Sayma Naznin Prova, Ms. Arushi Binte Amir and Ms. Shagufta Rahman Asha. The business
provides services like wedding decoion, wedding planning, wedding event solution, wedding
photography, wedding cinematography, wedding videography and pre-wedding and post
wedding photoshoot.
The primary market will be surrounding the men and women who are getting to be married
soon and the young generation. The venture requires 10,00,000/- taka only in start-up funding,
of which the owners will contribute 3,50,000/- taka only as paid-in capital. A conventional loan
of 6,50,000/- taka only will complete the start-up financing. The management level consists of
Director and Assistant Director. The Director and the Assistant Director are from the owners.
The target customers are the parents of the bride and groom, the relatives of the bride and
groom and the bride and groom themselves.
