satisfaction on wedding photography services in Bangladesh for the upcoming wedding
photography agencies”.
We have conducted this research to identify the satisfactory level of customers who have
already taken wedding photography services in Bangladesh which will be helpful for the
upcoming wedding photography agencies. We have conducted verbal, tabular and graphical
analysis while making the report. On the basis of our finding, we have came to know that
the customer satisfaction level on wedding photography services is in a moderate level in
Bangladesh.

Executive Summary
This research deals with to identify the satisfactory level of customers who have already
taken wedding photography services in Bangladesh which will be helpful for the upcoming
wedding photography agencies.
Evaluative method is used for this research. Primary data are collected to conduct this
research. A sample size of 50 persons ( 25 male and 25 female ) are selected for this
research. Simple Random Sampling technique, one of a kind of Probability Sampling
technique is used for this. Data are collected through survey. Data are analyzed and
presented through 3 techniques: verbal analysis, tabular analysis and graphical analysis.
From the research we have found that customers who have already taken wedding
photography services are highly satisfied with the quality of the service and the quality of
the photographs as products. But most of them expressed their dissatisfaction about the
fact that photographers take too much time to deliver their photographs, some exceed the
due date. They are also highly dissatisfied about the money photographers demand for their
services which exceeds their budget. But at the end most of them found satisfied about the
friendly and co-operative behavior of the photographers. All this summarizes the fact that,
the customer satisfaction level on wedding photography services in Bangladesh is in a
moderate level.
We hereby recommend the existing wedding photography agencies in Bangladesh that, they
should schedule their tasks and deliver photographs on due date. And they should cut out
their demanded money which will adjacent with the budget of their customers.
Introduction
Origin of the study:
Like the technology of photography itself, the pattern of wedding photography has evolved
and grown since the conception of the photographic art form in 1826. Even so, in the early
days of photography, most couples of more modest means did not hire a photographer to
record the actual wedding itself. Until the later half of the 19th century, most people didn’t
amaze for formal wedding photos on the wedding. Instead, they might pose for a formal
photo in their finest clothes before or after a wedding. In the late 1860s, more couples
began posing in their wedding clothes or sometimes hired a photographer to pertain the
wedding venue. Due to the nature of the large equipment and lighting issues, wedding
photography was mostly a studio practice.. Over time, technology improved, but many
couples still might only pose for a single wedding portrait. Wedding albums started
becoming more commonplace towards the 1880s, and the photographer would sometimes
include the wedding party in the photographs. Often the wedding gifts would be laid out
and recorded in the photographs as well. Color photography became available in the
beginning of the 20th century but it was untrustworthy and expensive. The concept of
capturing the wedding "event" came about after the Second World War. Using film roll
technology and improved lighting techniques available with the invention of the compact
flash bulb, photographers would often show up at a wedding and try to sell the photos later.
Background of the study:
Wedding photography is one of the most common parts of someone’s wedding program.
Nowadays in every wedding occasions people wants to capture their happiest moments. So
in the field of our research it is very important and this wedding photography trend will
remain all the time. This field is valuable because it will help some students to inspire to join
this profession as a future career. In this research they will able to know the opinon of the
consumers how they like their pictures are portrayed , the behaviors of the photographers
Etc.
Proposed title:
An analysis of customer satisfaction on wedding photography services in Bangladesh for the
upcoming wedding photography agencies.
Purpose statement:
To identify the satisfactory level of customers who have already taken wedding
photography services in Bangladesh which will be helpful for the upcoming wedding
photography agencies. Purpose of the wedding photography is to take great photos that will
satisfy their consumers & our purpose is to analyze how these all activities happen from
start to bottom. One of our group members is into this wedding photography agency, so
from her help we have analyzed the whole research how wedding photography rules and
activities are maintained.
Scope of the study:
In this purpose of the study we will discuss about an analysis of customer satisfaction on
wedding photography services in Bangladesh for the upcoming wedding photography
agencies. Now a day freshly graduated students want to open an entrepreneurship business
of their own. Also undergraduate students want to refine their photographic talent and
show their capabilities, at the same time they are interested on doing part time jobs beside
studies. For this purpose wedding photography would be a good market for them. Also
there are group of photographers in every university who are willing to open a wedding
photography agency of their own. But first they have to know how much this market is
flourished in Bangladesh or for how long the market of wedding photography services going
to stay. All this depends on the satisfactory level of customers who already took wedding
photography services on their weddings, or the relatives or family members of brides and
grooms. This analysis will showcase a clear view of the market and will help the upcoming
wedding photography agencies to make their choice. This research will give us the some
knowledge about wedding photography & how customer is satisfied with their service. We
can also know how wedding photography arrangements are done so that in future if any
customer faces any problem they will be get a hint of specific idea about from this research
paper. Another important thing is it will help some students to get influence on this
profession.
Limitations:
As we are only five members in our group, it is not possible to distribute questionnaires to
all the customers of wedding photography agencies in Dhaka. It is a time consuming
research, if we could get more time, we could do better. We could not completely rely on
the result of the research because only a sample size of 50 is chosen for the research from
thousands of customers. Even some of the wedding photography agencies are not willing to
give their list of customers and their contacts to us because they count it to be confidential
papers and are willing to keep their customer privacy. And also all the customers are not
fully co-operative.
METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY:
On thisresearchwe have gone to a weddingprogram, photographershave settheirequipmentsand
lightsaccordinglytotheirdesiredpositionwhichtook20minuets. After the guest arrived they were
become very busy for taking photos of bridge and groom. They have also taken some other guest
members. We have analyzed that in wedding photography that they have to maintain time very
strictly and work very professionally in the whole program. As they continue their work until the
program ended. We have asked many guests that how was their behavior, have they face in any
problems from the photographers EST. We have written down their answers for in purpose of our
report. Evaluative method is used for this research. Primary data are collected to conduct

Findings and Analysis
1) Wedding photographers are friendly and co-operative throughout the time of their
service.
From the time of contacting to the end of the service photographers are friendly in their
behavior. While taking photographs on events they are co-operative with their clients (bride
and groom) by helping them about how to pose for a picture and also by talking with them
to put them into ease.

2) They deal with clients through a written and valid agreement paper.
While dealing with clients, photographers use a valid and written agreement paper with
includes terms like: place of event, time of event, delivery time, service time, photo session
time for bride and groom, amount of money charged for service, legal rights for both clients
and photographers etc.

3) The amount of money they demand for service is consistent with the budget of clients.
The amount of money photographers charge for their service is consistent with the budget
of the customers or clients. Customers can thoroughly go through the service packages and
select any package compatible with their budget for that service.

4) Customer can negotiate service charge in accordance with their budget.
Photographers give the freedom to their clients to negotiate with them about the money
charged for their service. Clients may have lower budget than the service package they
need, photographers give them chance to negotiate between the prices.

5) Customers are given the opportunity to customize the service packages in accordance
with their own need or choice.
Photographers have packages like for example: 2 photographers will take 500 raw
photographs, 250 edited along with raw photographs will be given in cd and 100 post
processed photographs will be given printed, the service hour will be 3 hours and charge will
be 10,000/-. If a customer needs 1000 raw photographs to take, he/she can customize it
while ordering the package.

Photographers come in the event on time, as per in the agreement. They start taking photos
on due time and the session lasts hours as mentioned in the agreement.

7) Photographers deliver the photographs on due time.
Photographers deliver the photographs on the date mentioned in agreement paper. If any
delay or problem found in delivery, they inform about it to clients. They do not take much
time for delivery as clients tend to be eagerly waiting for the photographs of their
memorable event.

8) They give the best quality products (photographs) & services.
The quality of the photographs, which photographers take in the event are up to the
expectation of the clients. Photographers take beautiful photographs and process them so
well that in total the photographs get the most professional and appealing look. And the
qualities of printed photos do not degrade.

9) Photographers abstain from unfair use of the photographs of their clients.
Photographers are permitted or not permitted to use the photographs for their promotional
activity as authorized by the clients. If they do anything unfair which is not mentioned or
permitted in the agreement, clients can take lawful action against the agreement.

While dealing with clients, photographers get access to their personal number, home
address, office address, private email address, sometimes bank account number and many
more. They keep all this things on record and make files confidential and private.

Recommendation
 Photographers should deal with a written and valid agreement paper. This trend
should be started as soon as possible so clients may too know about this.
 The amount of money photographers demand should be consistent with the budget
of clients so clients get satisfied about this.
 Photographers should give chance clients to negotiate the service charge in
accordance with their budget. So clients don’t get dissatisfied.
 Photographers should deliver the photographs one due time so clients don’t get
dissatisfied.
Conclusion
as customer satisfaction on wedding photography services in Bangladesh is our
purpose to know from this research so we can conclude that customers are mostly
satisfied with the friendliness and cooperativeness of the photographers while
service and the opportunity to customized the service packages In accordance with
their own need or choice. Also they are satisfied with the product quality of
photographs and service of the photographers. Customers also support that
photographers abstain from unfair use of their photographs. But customers are seen
to be dissatisfied about not getting the opportunity to negotiate the amount
photographers charge for their service as the service packages are not consistent
with their budget most of the time. They also do not know about agreement paper
as most of the wedding photography agencies do not follow this trend or rule. So
this trend should be started quickly in this field. The upcoming wedding
photography agencies and wedding photographers would be benefited if they follow
these steps.

Executive Summary This research deals with to identify the satisfactory level of customers who have already taken wedding photography services in Bangladesh which will be helpful for the upcoming wedding photography agencies. Evaluative method is used for this research. Primary data are collected to conduct this research. A sample size of 50 persons ( 25 male and 25 female ) are selected for this research. Simple Random Sampling technique, one of a kind of Probability Sampling technique is used for this. Data are collected through survey. Data are analyzed and presented through 3 techniques: verbal analysis, tabular analysis and graphical analysis. From the research we have found that customers who have already taken wedding photography services are highly satisfied with the quality of the service and the quality of the photographs as products. But most of them expressed their dissatisfaction about the fact that photographers take too much time to deliver their photographs, some exceed the due date. They are also highly dissatisfied about the money photographers demand for their services which exceeds their budget. But at the end most of them found satisfied about the friendly and co-operative behavior of the photographers. All this summarizes the fact that, the customer satisfaction level on wedding photography services in Bangladesh is in a moderate level. We hereby recommend the existing wedding photography agencies in Bangladesh that, they should schedule their tasks and deliver photographs on due date. And they should cut out their demanded money which will adjacent with the budget of their customers.
  • 6. Introduction Origin of the study: Like the technology of photography itself, the pattern of wedding photography has evolved and grown since the conception of the photographic art form in 1826. Even so, in the early days of photography, most couples of more modest means did not hire a photographer to record the actual wedding itself. Until the later half of the 19th century, most people didn’t amaze for formal wedding photos on the wedding. Instead, they might pose for a formal photo in their finest clothes before or after a wedding. In the late 1860s, more couples began posing in their wedding clothes or sometimes hired a photographer to pertain the wedding venue. Due to the nature of the large equipment and lighting issues, wedding photography was mostly a studio practice.. Over time, technology improved, but many couples still might only pose for a single wedding portrait. Wedding albums started becoming more commonplace towards the 1880s, and the photographer would sometimes include the wedding party in the photographs. Often the wedding gifts would be laid out and recorded in the photographs as well. Color photography became available in the beginning of the 20th century but it was untrustworthy and expensive. The concept of capturing the wedding "event" came about after the Second World War. Using film roll technology and improved lighting techniques available with the invention of the compact flash bulb, photographers would often show up at a wedding and try to sell the photos later. Background of the study: Wedding photography is one of the most common parts of someone’s wedding program. Nowadays in every wedding occasions people wants to capture their happiest moments. So in the field of our research it is very important and this wedding photography trend will remain all the time. This field is valuable because it will help some students to inspire to join this profession as a future career. In this research they will able to know the opinon of the consumers how they like their pictures are portrayed , the behaviors of the photographers Etc. Purpose statement: To identify the satisfactory level of customers who have already taken wedding photography services in Bangladesh which will be helpful for the upcoming wedding photography agencies. Purpose of the wedding photography is to take great photos that will satisfy their consumers & our purpose is to analyze how these all activities happen from start to bottom. One of our group members is into this wedding photography agency, so from her help we have analyzed the whole research how wedding photography rules and activities are maintained. Scope of the study: In this purpose of the study we will discuss about an analysis of customer satisfaction on wedding photography services in Bangladesh for the upcoming wedding photography agencies. Now a day freshly graduated students want to open an entrepreneurship business of their own. Also undergraduate students want to refine their photographic talent and show their capabilities, at the same time they are interested on doing part time jobs beside studies. For this purpose wedding photography would be a good market for them. Also there are group of photographers in every university who are willing to open a wedding photography agency of their own. But first they have to know how much this market is flourished in Bangladesh or for how long the market of wedding photography services going to stay. All this depends on the satisfactory level of customers who already took wedding photography services on their weddings, or the relatives or family members of brides and grooms. This analysis will showcase a clear view of the market and will help the upcoming wedding photography agencies to make their choice. This research will give us the some knowledge about wedding photography & how customer is satisfied with their service. We can also know how wedding photography arrangements are done so that in future if any customer faces any problem they will be get a hint of specific idea about from this research paper. Another important thing is it will help some students to get influence on this profession. Limitations: As we are only five members in our group, it is not possible to distribute questionnaires to all the customers of wedding photography agencies in Dhaka. It is a time consuming research, if we could get more time, we could do better. We could not completely rely on
  • 8. the result of the research because only a sample size of 50 is chosen for the research from thousands of customers. Even some of the wedding photography agencies are not willing to give their list of customers and their contacts to us because they count it to be confidential papers and are willing to keep their customer privacy. And also all the customers are not fully co-operative. METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY: On thisresearchwe have gone to a weddingprogram, photographershave settheirequipmentsand lightsaccordinglytotheirdesiredpositionwhichtook20minuets. After the guest arrived they were become very busy for taking photos of bridge and groom. They have also taken some other guest members. We have analyzed that in wedding photography that they have to maintain time very strictly and work very professionally in the whole program. As they continue their work until the program ended. We have asked many guests that how was their behavior, have they face in any problems from the photographers EST. We have written down their answers for in purpose of our report.   • 9. Findings and Analysis 1) Wedding photographers are friendly and co-operative throughout the time of their service. From the time of contacting to the end of the service photographers are friendly in their behavior. While taking photographs on events they are co-operative with their clients (bride and groom) by helping them about how to pose for a picture and also by talking with them to put them into ease.   • 11. 3) The amount of money they demand for service is consistent with the budget of clients. The amount of money photographers charge for their service is consistent with the budget of the customers or clients. Customers can thoroughly go through the service packages and select any package compatible with their budget for that service.   • 12. 4) Customer can negotiate service charge in accordance with their budget. Photographers give the freedom to their clients to negotiate with them about the money charged for their service. Clients may have lower budget than the service package they need, photographers give them chance to negotiate between the prices.   • 13. 5) Customers are given the opportunity to customize the service packages in accordance with their own need or choice. Photographers have packages like for example: 2 photographers will take 500 raw photographs, 250 edited along with raw photographs will be given in cd and 100 post processed photographs will be given printed, the service hour will be 3 hours and charge will be 10,000/-. If a customer needs 1000 raw photographs to take, he/she can customize it while ordering the package. They start taking photos on due time and the session lasts hours as mentioned in the agreement.   • 15. 7) Photographers deliver the photographs on due time. Photographers deliver the photographs on the date mentioned in agreement paper. If any delay or problem found in delivery, they inform about it to clients. They do not take much time for delivery as clients tend to be eagerly waiting for the photographs of their memorable event. Photographers take beautiful photographs and process them so well that in total the photographs get the most professional and appealing look. And the qualities of printed photos do not degrade. This trend should be started as soon as possible so clients may too know about this.  The amount of money photographers demand should be consistent with the budget of clients so clients get satisfied about this.  Photographers should give chance clients to negotiate the service charge in accordance with their budget. So clients don’t get dissatisfied.  Photographers should deliver the photographs one due time so clients don’t get dissatisfied.

Conclusion as customer satisfaction on wedding photography services in Bangladesh is our purpose to know from this research so we can conclude that customers are mostly satisfied with the friendliness and cooperativeness of the photographers while service and the opportunity to customized the service packages In accordance with their own need or choice. Also they are satisfied with the product quality of photographs and service of the photographers. Customers also support that photographers abstain from unfair use of their photographs. But customers are seen to be dissatisfied about not getting the opportunity to negotiate the amount photographers charge for their service as the service packages are not consistent with their budget most of the time. They also do not know about agreement paper as most of the wedding photography agencies do not follow this trend or rule. So this trend should be started quickly in this field. The upcoming wedding photography agencies and wedding photographers would be benefited if they follow these steps.
