implied needs.

In case of quality factor of entity (product, Ql)' as a system, this approach is based
on a group of characteristics that meet the stated and implied needs. Specified
needs are in fact characteristics of: functionality, dependability, maintainability,
thereafter economic, estetic, ecological, human and other characteristics. From
system approach viewpoint, quality factor of entity (organization), naimely
supplier, Q2 and subcontractor, Q3, may be considered as a social-technical system
with the following essential elements or subsystems: man, processes and product.
From the aspect of total quality, these entities must have a certain measurable
quality of man, processes and product representing general elements of TQM.
Complex concepts from the field of quality, particularly quality factor of entity
(state environment, Q5) and factor of entity quality (state, Q5) and quality factor of
entity (processes, Q6) may also be considered as systems. Concepts, determining a
considered quality concept, represent system clements which, mutually connected,
determine the system. Benefit of such representation of complex concepts of
quality is in introducing a systematic model of hierarchy type for all observed
