…and nowhere to park or secure bikes
18. In developing the site plan for the Northwest Rooms, we
hoped to address both Seattle Center’s lack of parking and
staff’s request for secure, convenient, accessible bike parking
within our New Home.
19. KEXP’s New Home provides space to:
• welcome listeners and the public to music performances & KEXP
events, or just to hang out;
• record, edit and produce audio and video (such as Live in-studio
sessions) in audio/video editing suites and a video control room;
• host over 400 in-studio performances a year in the Live Room;
• offer a green room to touring artists with a shower, laundry, couches
& an Xbox;
• expand into open office space for 50+ full-time staff and lockers for
40 part-time DJs;
