Dear Hiring Coordinator;
I am looking for a position that allows me to utilize my knowledge and problem solving skills to
bring an increased level of success of my company and its customers.
For the last two years I have been working with professors and my peers, developing
applications and websites to provide solutions for businesses using the .net framework
supported by a SQL database as well as learning to manage hardware and software on small,
medium and large networks. Throughout this time, I have worked individually and in teams up
to 7 members, usually as the project manager, ensuring that our project stays consistent with
our work plan and that we remain focused on results.
I have a passion for development and coding. I enjoy the critical thinking and problem solving
aspects that these challenges provide. I have gone beyond my curriculum to experiment with
JAVA, C# and Python to expand my knowledge base. This has not only given me skills to
develop and manage applications but has also shown me the possibilities provided by these
languages, allowing me to act as liaison with contracted or in- house programmers to develop
business solutions.
I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and I believe teamwork, compromise,
and conflict resolution are mission critical. Past team leadership positions have given me
experience working with a diverse assortment of people with different personalities, skill sets
and experience levels. These situations have shown me the importance of playing to each
member’s strengths and taking their situations into consideration. My communications skills
proved useful within my teams as well as with clients and professors.
