• An effective leader and manager with in the HSE field with 7 years experience: In my
role at WBHO Construction, I accomplished a 2 Million shift hours without an LTI {Lost time
injury}. I was also able to showcase my management abilities as a the only HSE manager
with in the entire plant department, managing various mechanical and maintenance
workshops across Africa including. Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho, Ghana and
more.
• A disciplined teacher of HSE: I have always displayed my careful approach to risk
mitigation and hazard identification , by teaching, instructing and training employees how to
apply themselves within their field . At previous employers, I frequently trained employees
in policies, risk assessments safe work procedures and legislation. In addition, I had the
opportunity to bring WBHO’s plant department in to the forefront of HSE standards, which
further shows my dedication, commitment and persistence in effective HSE management.
Everything I have engaged in so far has all been driven by my keen interest in organisational
growth and standardization of HSE requirements. Even as an HSE manager, I made sure to
dedicate some part of my day to engage in face to face interventions with employees to ensure
their job satisfaction and to answer or interpret any miss understanding they might have regarding
HSE implementation and also take down their opinions or ideas to any ideas or suggestions on
how to improve HSE management with in the company. It is this passion that has driven every
one of my career decisions thus far.
